Through a large selection of paintings, sculptures, installations and videos, Traces du Sacré brings together some 350 major works including a number of pieces displayed for the first time in France by close to 200 internationally-renowned artists.

16º Curtas Vila do Conde

O 16º Curtas - Festival Internacional de Cinema que se realizará entre 5 e 13 de Julho próximo em Vila do Conde integra uma Mostra Competitiva de Filmes de Escola.
Admitem-se Animações, Documentários, Filmes Experimentais, Ficções e Videos Musicais produzidos em 2007 ou 2008, de duração inferior a 30 minutos e em suporte 16mm, 35mm, BETACAM-SP/Pal ou Mini-Dv/Pal.
É condição obrigatória que os autores, aquando da realização da obra, estejam inscritos num estabelecimento de Ensino Superior (ou seu equivalente) português.

João Penalva na galeria Solar

T. D. de João Penalva inaugura na próxima sexta-feira 10 de Maio às 22h na galeria Solar em Vila do Conde.

T. D. baseia-se numa vídeo-instalação com transmissão directa de som e imagem a partir do relógio da torre na igreja matriz de Vila do Conde até ao espaço da galeria.

Oslo Screen Festival

Oslo Screen Festival is an event organized in the year of Cultural Diversity 2008 in Norway. Screen focuses on innovative and experimental works within the field of video art, and this year encourages artists and filmmakers to approach the theme of alterity / identity in their works.

The festival is going to take place at the Cinematheque in Oslo and other places around the city on October 24th, 25th and 26th.
